EXTERIOR SHIELD PROTECTION (ESP)Towing/Roadside Assistance - Windshield - Tire/Wheel - Dent and Ding 24 Hour Emergency Towing and Roadside Assistance 24 hour emergency towing service: Your vehicle may be towed to destination of your choice. 24 hour emergency road service: You are covered for emergency road service throughout the U.S. and Canada. 24 hour essential fluids and supplies delivery: Includes delivery of gasoline, water, oil, or any supplies necessary to send you on your way. We pay for the delivery, you pay for the cost of the fluids or supplies. 24 hour flat tire assistance: We will change your flat tire with your good spare. 24 hour emergency battery assistance: All of our trucks are capable of jumpstarting your dead battery and tightening cables as needed. 24 hour lockout service: Whether you locked your keys in the car or your keys are lost or damaged, will will send out a locksmith to help you out. Windshield Repair Protection Front windshield repair of chips and cracks caused by propelled rocks or road hazard debris while driving on public roads, streets and highways. Won't increase your vehicle insurance premiums if used. At your convenience repairs can be done at the dealership, home or office. Tire and Wheel Protection Flat Tire Coverage: You will be reimbursed for the charges incurred for the repair of flat tires caused by road hazard. Tire Replacement: Reimbursement is provided should the tire become non-repairable due to impact leads, snags, cuts, puncture, or other road hazards. Wheel/Rim Protection: Reimbursement is provided for expenses arising out of the repair or replacement of wheels rendered unserviceable due to failure of the wheel covered under your contract. Mounting/Balancing and Taxes: Reimbursement is provided for any tire covered by your agreement. We will absorb the cost of all local and state taxes, where applicable, as required as part of a covered repair. Exterior Shield Protection Plan Coverage and Conditions: Since most insurance policies carry large deductibles, many vehicle owners forego minor repairs to metal, glass, tires and wheels. Fortunately, your membership will provide you with the following valuable protection. Roadside Assistance: As an ESP Plan member you will not be required to pay any additional fee or sum in addition to the membership fee when your service is for a tow of up to 25 miles or other covered service that does not exceed the benefit limit of $75.00 per occurrence. You must call the toll-free number on the front of this application for your 24-hour emergency roadside benefits. You are entitled to one roadside service within a 72-hour period. In the event we cannot locate a provider; you will be given an authorization number for a maximum reimbursement of up to $75.00. Towing - Provides towing to the nearest repair facility capable of making or performing needed repairs or services up to a 25-mile limit. Emergency Road Service - Any available road service that is needed to get your vehicle running (i.e. hose replacement, tightening of cables or belts etc.). Member is responsible for actual cost of parts and/or supplies. Essential Fluids or Supplies Delivery - Including gasoline, water, oil, or any supplies necessary to send a member's car on its way member is responsible for actual cost of fluid or supplies requested. Flat Tire Changes or Repairs - Includes changing a flat tire with your good spare or plugging a punched tire. Lockout Services -We will send a locksmith, if you are accidentally locked out of your vehicle. Custom Trip Routing Service: We will furnish you with information, maps, itineraries of trips, and will make reservations for hotel, rail and air travel, and automobile rental service. Windshield Repair Protection: Covers the cost of repairs to the front windshield ONLY of minor chips and cracks caused from propelled rocks or other road hazard debris such as wood debris, metal parts, plastic or composite scraps or any other propelled object. NOTE: This covers only minor repairable chips and cracks. Stress cracks or cracks over six (6) inches are not covered. You must call us PRIOR to repair. Failure to use our network will void this coverage. Limit 5 claims per contract period. Coverage is strictly for road hazard debris damage. Weather related damage is NOT covered. Paintless Dent Repair Protection: Paintless Dent Repair (PDR) is a process, developed by automobile manufacturing production teams, that uses specialized hand tools to gently push the dented metal back to its original form. This permanently removes door dings and minor dents without harming a vehicles factory finish. To access your benefit call to schedule your appointment (Maximum of 3 service calls per contract period with a maximum of 2 dent removals per service call, maximum dent/ding size 2" diameter). Paintless Dent Repair Exclusions: We do not provide coverage for: Large or deep dents. Dents that are inaccessible due to the following: (a) the existence of after-market equipment, or (b) such after-market equipment or the installation thereof has altered the original vehicle configuration, or (c) Edges where it is determined that the manufacturer's bracing does not allow for the PDR process. Repairs to creased metal or any area where the paint is damaged. Repairs to any dent or ding that, if repaired, could in any way damage the vehicles paint or finish. Tire and Wheel (Rim) Protection Road Hazard Coverage: This warranty is between the Agreement Holder and Us. It provides for the repair or replacement of the listed vehicle's tires and wheels, which during the term of this agreement become unserviceable due to a Road Hazard, covered under this limited warranty. Unserviceable means that the tires has been punctured or otherwise damaged to the extent that it is unsafe, or that the wheel will no longer hold a seal with its tire. Tire and/or wheel damage that is cosmetic in nature and that does not render the tire and/or wheel Unserviceable is specifically excluded. A Road Hazard is a condition on a public roadway, which should not exist there, such as pothole nails, glass, or other road debris. Eligible vehicles include current model year plus ten-year's prior. Term: Coverage commences on the date and at the time that You sign this document and continues for the number of years specified. For tires only, the term expires when there remains only 3/32" of tire tread on any original tire, or on the expiration date of the contract, whichever comes first. Claims Procedures: Any tires which require replacement, and wheels which require repair or replacement under the terms of this contract, MUST BE AUTHORIZED BY US and be made available for inspection PRIOR to repair or replacement. In the event that the tire and/or wheel damage occurs after regular business hours, or on a weekend, you must obtain instructions and a proof of loss form from our web site. All after hour's instructions must be followed in order to receive reimbursement. Please note that all of our rights under this contract are hereby reserved. Damaged tires and/or wheels must be preserved for our inspection, and we reserve the right to deny any claim wherein the damaged tires and/or wheels are disposed of prior to our inspection. Flat Tires: You will be reimbursed for the reasonable costs you incur to repair a flat tire caused by a Road Hazard while operating the covered vehicle on public streets and in a legal manner. Tire Replacement: You will be reimbursed for the reasonable costs you incur to replace a tire, only if a tire covered by this agreement becomes un-repairable due to damage caused by a Road Hazard. This coverage is valid through the tread life of a tire (3/32" or less is excluded) and replacement will be made with a tire of like kind, quality and cost to the original tire. Wheels (Rims): You will be reimbursed for the repair or replacement of wheels rendered Unserviceable due to a Road Hazard covered under this warranty. We reserve the right to have damaged wheels repaired at our cost by a service provider of our choosing. We further reserve the right to replace the damaged wheel at our cost with a remanufactured wheel of like kind and quality to the wheel that was damaged by the covered Road Hazard. We will cover wheel replacement only in the event that the damaged wheel cannot be repaired. Mounting and Balancing: You will be reimbursed for the reasonable costs that you incur for mounting, balancing, valve stems, and tire disposal for any tire replaced under this agreement. However, unspecified charges for shop supplies are excluded. Taxes: You will be reimbursed for the cost of local and state taxes, as directed by state agencies for any tire or wheel replaced under this agreement. Agreement Holder Responsibility: You must maintain proper air pressure in all covered tires. Tires should be checked monthly for proper pressure, signs of dry rot, improper wear, and tread depth less than 3/32". Any conditions that cannot be corrected demands replacement for the safety of the vehicle's occupants. Replaced tires are not covered for the time remaining on the warranty (unless replacement is for a Road Hazard claim). Exclusions: This limited warranty does not cover: 1. Any damage that occurs outside the United States or Canada. 2. Any damage resulting from off-road use, racing, collision with a curb, median or another vehicle, chain damage, misuse, abuse, lack of proper maintenance, misalignment, suspension problems, use on a construction site or on roads not regularly maintained, vandalism or malicious mischief, theft, fire, or any loss covered by primary physical damage insurance. 3. Damage caused by driving on tires that are improperly inflated. Any damage to tires and/or wheels that are undersized, oversized, or otherwise not recommended by the vehicle manufacturer. 4. Any damage to tires and/or wheels transferred from another vehicle subsequent to the effective date of this agreement. 5. Any damage to "after market" wheels defined as those that are not manufactured by the original vehicle manufacturer. 6. Any damage to tires and/or wheels that are mounted on vehicles other than private passenger cars and light duty trucks (under 13,500 lbs. Gross vehicle weight). Any damage that is covered by any other warranty, including warranties issued by the manufacturer, or any damage that is the result of a manufacturer defect. 8. Replacement wherein the manufacturer, by public announcement of a recall, established its responsibility to replace tires or wheels. 9. Any loss where you or any person on our behalf falsely swears or commits any fraudulent act with respect to any claim. 10. Any wheel repair or replacement, or any tire replacement that is not preauthorized. Any loss that is not reported to us within 60 days from the date the damage occurs. 11. Any loss to tires or wheels that were not on the described vehicle at the time that this membership was purchased unless the original tires or wheels were replaced due to a covered Road Hazard claim. Limits of Coverage (4-6 Wheel - Automobiles, light trucks): Flat Tire coverage is limited up to a maximum of $30 per occurrence. Tire Replacement coverage is limited to a maximum of up to $250 per tire. Wheel (Rims) coverage is limited to a maximum of $400 per wheel. The maximum aggregate coverage provided for either tire or wheel replacement on this contract will be the amount per each item as stated, times the number of tires on the vehicle, (i.e.: automobiles $250 per tire x 4 = $1,000) Arbitration: In the event you, the Agreement Holder and We fail to agree to the amount of a covered loss, or whether coverage is provided under this warranty, each party shall agree to submit the dispute to a binding arbitration. In such an event, the parties agree to share equally in the costs of the arbitration. General Conditions: There is a 30-day waiting period for all services with regards to used vehicles. Used vehicles are limited to a 3-year contract. Vendor Availability: We make every effort to provide service vendors nationwide but there are instances in which we have no vendor available in your area. In such an instance, We reserves the right to make cash settlements in lieu of providing service. Such settlement will be based on market rates for the like services in your general geographic area. Commercial vehicles are excluded from this program. No more than 5 services calls in any 12 month period. Cancellation and Transfer: The named member may cancel Service contract by surrender hereof or by mailing to us written notice stating when thereafter such cancellation shall be effective. Earned fee of such service contract shall be computed in accordance with a short rate cancellation table plus a $25 cancellation fee. Membership may be transferred by you to a subsequent private purchaser of the covered vehicle for the remainder of the original term (licensed dealers excluded). This plan is not transferable to another vehicle. To transfer this plan to another owner, you must submit to us the following within thirty (30) days from the date of sale. The Member must call us to obtain a transfer form. 1. A letter containing the name and address of the new owner, and your authorization to transfer. 2. A copy of the bill of sale or other evidence showing the change in ownership 3. A check or money order for $50 payable to the administrator for the transfer fee.
