I use a motorolla service monitor to do all my bench work along with a good scope to veiw my output signals.  some shops use just a wattmeter and a dummy load.  The sad truth is you need more than that to set up a radio properly.  The problem with just a dummy load is you can peak your power but you cant see what is happening to your signal.  Without the proper equipment you can overdrive your radio and cause it to fail prematurely.  Overdriving your output will also cause Overmodulation wich will cause poor audio on your transmit side.  I have seen and fixed radios from other shops that boast high power and quality work but well i have seen the aftermath of this work.  So you can trust us we will not hackup your radio and return it to you worse of than what it was when you sent it.
