Description
Delco Remy 2 Piece Distributor Rebuilding Service At Classic & Exotic Service, Inc., we specialize in rebuilding Delco 2 piece distributors as used on many cars in the late 1920's and early 1930's. These were commonly used by Lasalle, Cadillac, Stutz, Duesenberg, Lincoln and many others. Our thorough and professional rebuilding service includes: Complete disassembly and cleaning. Bearings, bushings and advance weights are replaced. Plated parts are replated with the correct finish. New tags are provided and stamped to match the original tag. Excessive wear on the lower shaft is repaired. Distributor housings are remachined and resized to obtain proper fit of the ball bearing and distributor cap. If needed, the badly worn gears or cams can be reproduced. Points and condensers are replaced and synchronized. The advance curve is checked and adjusted. Housings are painted with black urethene paint. The complete units are set and checked with a Sun Distributor Machine. Average delivery time for this service is 3 weeks. Cost of this service is dependent upon the condition of the distributor and completeness of the existing unit upon receipt and inspection by our technician - the price listed in this ad may not be reflective of the actual cost of rebuilding your unit - contact us for an estimate for your distributor.
